Theatre as an art form is a part of world heritage. It has a well-documented history which can be traced back thousands of years. Studying theatre is almost studying the history of the cultural heritage of the world.

Theatre deals with human relations as existed in a particular age and mirrors it through the art form. So to know about theatre is to know about the traditions, customs, manners and behavioral patterns.

Many people from our region are contributing to the Hindi/Marathi Film Industry as well as in theatres. Some of the persons worked with Shri Dadasaheb Falke in various segments.  Great Music Director Vasant Desai and a great poet writer C.T. Khanolkar  (known as Arati Prabhu) are the alumni of our institutions.

To tribute these personalities and keep inspiration to budding artist institutions has decided to build an Amphitheater in the name of great Music Director Vasant Desai and a great poet writer C.T. Khanolkar  (known as Arati Prabhu) in the form of an educational institute to teach Acting skills, dramatics, music, dance etc.

Aim:

1)     An educational institute teaching acting skills, dramatics, music, dance etc.

2)     Amphitheater is an open-air venue used for entertainment, performances and to build confidence among the students.

3)     To arrange lectures of well-known personalities to nearby communities.

4) To organize various cultural events of well-known personalities.
